A pack of 8 or 16 delicious teabags individually packaged in handcrafted sewn paper envelopes. A perfect gift for anyone who loves the Titanic.
Each envelope features a unique design inspired by the world’s most famous passenger liner and it’s very sad end. With a vintage style and contemporary twist, these charming teabags make a perfect memento or gift for anyone who appreciates this great ship and where she was made.
The teas are sourced from well known British tea companies and you have a number of different flavour options to choose from: English Breakfast tea, English Breakfast & Earl Grey, PG Tips, Tetley’s Tea, or a selection of mixed flavours (which includes English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Darjeeling, Camomile, Rooibos, Indian Spice Chai, Mint (spearmint), Jasmine Green Tea, Cape Malay Chai, Pure Peppermint, Organic Green Tea and Honeybush).
Inside each envelope is a flavour card or flavour tag explaining which tea flavour it contains.
Each set also includes a choice of packaging options: a card box, a small paper gift bag, or loose envelopes wrapped in tissue paper.
These are handmade and hand sewn so they are not all exactly the same. Made with white paper and sewn with white cotton.
Each individual bag is 7.2 x 6 x 0.5cm.
Frequently Asked Questions about this Titanic Tea Set
Is the Titanic Tea Set inspired by the movie ‘Titanic’?
No, this Titanic Gift Set has no connection to the 1997 Titanic movie (nor any previous Titanic movies, for that matter!). This set is handcrafted in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where the Titanic itself was built, and this Titanic Tea Set is inspired by the history of the actual vessel, rather than a movie adaptation.
Does this Titanic Gift Set feature original artwork from Titanic?
Some elements of the design work in the Titanic Tea Set were used because they are in the public domain, for example newspaper clippings from around the time the Titanic sank. Other aspects of the gift set are entirely original, even though they have been designed to reflect the styles, themes and colour schemes associated with the timeframe in which Titanic was built.
Would the tea in this gift set be suitable for someone who’s pregnant?
As with most of my gift sets, the Titanic Tea Set comes with a range of flavour options, so it is possible to request caffeine-free teas that would be suitable for someone who’s pregnant. To do this, simply choose the ‘Mixed Flavours’ option from the flavours dropdown, and then use the ‘Order Notes’ box when checking out to confirm that you would like naturally caffeine-free teas.
I recently bought this gift for a friend and it was a big hit – do you have other gift sets that might suit someone with similar tastes?
If your friend is a history buff then our Churchill Tea could make the perfect gift for them. If they like Titanic’s Irish roots then we also do an Irish Tea Gift Set and a Northern Irish Gift Set, both of which might work well.
